To improve manufacturing operations to align with top industry performance levels while reducing HSEQ incidents and plant downtime caused by low infrastructure investments, undisciplined organizational culture, management challenges and reduced employee skill levels due to an aging workforce.
We worked closely with the management team and industry experts to define a performance improvement strategy which was then translated into a transformation roadmap and plan. The transformation extended across operational restructures, process best practices and technology implementations. The staff complement of 700 was continuously engaged to ensure alignment to the strategy while trained on new roles, processes and technology. A talent pipeline was implemented to ensure aging skills leaving the plant were replaced with new and appropriately skilled resources.
