To consolidate a disparate multi-country multi-brand supply chain of a global retailer across 5 divisions and 13 brands into a product based supply chain to leverage costs, increase margins and reduce stockholding while creating savings of $100m over 5 years to fund business transformation.
We worked closely with the management team and industry experts to define an appropriate supply chain strategy for the group which was then translated into sub-strategies for each supply chain function. The strategy was unpacked into a transformation roadmap over 5 years and for each year the roadmap unpacked into clear transformation plans with key milestones, targets and responsibilities. The transformation extended across restructures, process engineering and technology implementations. Savings opportunities were identified across the supply chain with employee and management input and delivery managed to ensure savings per year were achieved.
